We will update you when grooming is completed. When the snow stops SLU will groom the roads and the Friends will groom the trails. The roads, camp loops and the less shaded trails should be skiable with improving conditions. March 12: We have received about 2" so far with more snow falling. It is a late-season gift from Mother Nature! It should groom well and give skiers and snowshoers a good surface for the next couple of days. The Park received 5+ inches of dense snow. Not many more days, if any, like this so don't miss it! With over 5" of very groomable snow, conditions should be very good today to enjoy a late-season ski on quality conditions. March 13: A beautiful, late winter day to enjoy the freshly groomed trails at the Park. It won't last forever so if you have the chance use it while we have it! There are a few thin spots in the usual places but coverage is generally good. March 14: 1+ inches of new snow and skiing until sunset. There are some stretches of decent skiing on most of the trails. There are some bare areas appearing in the usual spots and some ice where drainage is not good. March 17: This week may finish the ski season unless we get a late-season snowfall. March 28: Several snow squalls have deposited enough snow at the Park to make many of the trails, some with base remaining, marginally skiable. Let's all follow the rules and make sure that dogs continue to be welcome.

We have a lot of little children at the Park now. Animals can be oblivious to skiers and may cause injury by hitting people or appearing in the middle of a track on a downhill, causing falls. Skiers have expressed issues with unleashed dogs.Īdditionally, unleashed pets may stray and pick up a deer scent, follow, and become a missing pet. There is something joyous about seeing a dog run free and happy, but the Park is not the place for that. Leashed dogs are welcome at the Park and owners are to be commended for keeping the trails poop free. This is a touchy subject because we all love our pets and think that they are exceptional members of our families deserving special privileges but an issue has come up multiple times to the point that it needs to be addressed.
